This Jane Austen Journal, like journal #1, is blinged out and over the top!  She is super chunky and girly to the max and I had so much fun creating her.  :)  Though both journals are very similar, they are not exactly the same.

She is 8 1/2" x 6" with a 3" spine; she is a chunky girl!!  ;)  She has 5 signatures sewn into the cover with a 5-hole pamphlet stitch using wax linen thread.  I made the cover using chipboard which I covered with Bazzill cardstock.  The spine of the cover is reinforced with Tyvek for added strength.  The signatures are placed 1/2" apart for extra space within the signature.

Types of papers used:  Red River 26# photo matte, RR 60# canvas photo matte, coffee-dyed papers, parchment, various lined note pads, vellum, 110# cardstock, 65# Neena Exact Vellum Bristol (Ivory), and various designer paper pads in my stash.

You will find lots of lace, appliques, trims, and ribbon.  I used lots of half-backed gems and pearls, and other bling.  I used Wink of Stella Clear to add sparkle to many of the printed roses.
