"Jane" is an altered File Folder Journal.

This journal was a lot of fun to make using a single file folder.  It is 9" tall x ~ 6" wide.  It is a single signature journal with 58 pages inside and 6 flaps on the journal cover itself.  (So, more than the actual 58 pages I have stated).

The face of the journal is constructed using 6 different envelopes that hold multiple journal cards and tags.  The cover of the journal is made from a regular-sized file folder that has been re-inforced with a large piece of a Tyvek envelope for added strength.  The journal is stitched to the cover using a 3 hole pamphlet stitch.  I've added snippets of lace, ribbon, trim, flowers, and one charm.

Papers used inside this journal:  Red River 28# photo matte, parchment, tea-dyed, book page from Flower Garden Paperscapes, vellum, 110#, 120#, and 67# cardstock.
