"Garden Friends" is a handmade vintage-style journal.  I filled her with lots of love and I poured my heart into my work.  I really enjoyed working on this one!!

This journal is 7 1/2" x 5 1/2" with a 2" spine.  It has 3 signatures which were hand-sewn with wax linen thread into her hardbound (medium weight chipboard) cover.  As always, I used a portion of a Tyvek mailing envelope to reinforce the spine.

You'll find 122++ pages, not including 2 booklets and 1 folder with parchment paper for more journaling space.  I filled her with lots of pockets and tuck spots, journal cards and tags, envelopes and even some adorable plant "stakes."

The Hug Snug seam binding ribbon ties have been sprayed with Lindy's sprays in soft teals and green.  You'll find more inside on some of the tags and some other beautiful ribbon as well.  I also included some charms on bulb pins.

This journal is filled with flowers, birds, dragonflies, butterflies, ladybugs, bees, and even a frog or two.  ;)  I did some stenciling and stamping.

Papers used in the creation of this journal:  parchment, vellum, copy paper dyed using soft teal and green sparkly spray (and baked), photo matte paper, 67# Neena ivory cardstock, 110# white cardstock, and black cardstock.
